You can find me on Shimelle's blog today about ideas for using modeling paste. Go check it out! There's five NEW projects from me.
First week of 2013 harvest is underway and going well. Have a great weekend!
Still playing catch up...... Here's more work for The Scrapbooking Studio with Crate Paper's Party Day collection.
And you can't beat a simple birthday card!
This collection is hands down my favorite birthday collection of all-time. I love the patterns and bright colors.
How about a calendar to keep track of all your birthdays? One month at a time.

Here we go...I've got some catching up to do!
I got to play with Webster's Pages/Allison Kreft's Sweet Notes Collection for The Scrapbooking Studio. The colors are so bright and fun. I created a little summer checklist mini along with a couple layouts and cards.
And now the layouts.
And last but least—a couple cards:

It's been such a great ride. I'm sad to see it has ended. Little Black Dress Kit Club has closed it's doors, but I wanted to take some time and share the last kit with you all. This is the June Kit.
Oh how I wish I could share her perfect, sweet, beautiful, chubby round face with you! Just picture the most beautiful smiling baby there in that blurry area. The color purple has been growing on me since having a baby girl in the house.
I'm not a fan of glitter. I might even have a bit of a glitter-phobia. Is there an official term for it? Might have to go look that up sometime. I used the included Thickers anyway and maybe they aren't so bad.
Can't go wrong with circles and fun, bright patterns. I chose black and white photos so the photo colors wouldn't clash with the paper colors. And I just love black and white photos anyway—always have.
This kit has so many brights AND neutrals. Here's a layout showcasing the neutrals.
Thanks for stopping by!

Can't wait to get your hands on it? It's available at Two Peas in a Bucket NOW!
And here's what I created. My layout features some of the great floral motifs in this line. Isn't the color palette just perfect?!

Not only is it gallery reveal day, but we're celebrating Write.Click.Scrapbook's birthday too with a blog hop! If you are hopping along, congratulations, you've made it to the last stop. We're each sharing three tips with you today.
One of my favorite principles of design is repetition. Take an item or items and repeat it one or more times on your layout.
Here's my layout for the June gallery. It was inspired by Diane Payne's embellishment week back in January. It was fun to scrap from my stash and pull out some really old items and mix them with some newer items.
If you'd like to start the blog hop from the beginning or anywhere in between, here's the full list:

Yes, I am still here! Did you miss me? I am hoping to get back to a more consistent blogging schedule soon. Just popping in today to share my projects created for The Scrapbooking Studio with Crate Paper's line by Maggie Holmes.
First up is an altered lampshade. It was inspired by this pin by Dottie Angel. The lampshade was purchased at Goodwill. I removed the fabric shade portion to leave just a bare frame. I then grabbed some fabric from my stash, tore it into strips, and wrapped the frame with it. I punched a variety of shapes and ran them through my sewing machine to create garland. My Silhouette SD was used for the larger shapes. Cute little clothespins from the Maggie Holmes line were used to attached the bigger shapes (and some hot glue). I LOVE it and can't wait to hang it in the baby girl's room!
I used the camera from the package of mini album assorted die-cut inserts supplement as the focus of this layout. Circles were cut and mist was splattered. I added some My Mind's Eye enamel dots in with the mist splatters, and I love the effect! Those ombre Sundrifter Thickers from Studio Calico/American Crafts are my new favorite alpha.
The Maggie Holmes line is so versatile. Not only is suitable for boy layouts, but it's also suitable for girl layouts. Love lines that can easily be used for both! The fabric frames in the collection are awesome! Something I'll be hoarding for sure.
And a fun little tag. The confetti filled envelope is also from the mini album assorted die-cut supplement.write.click.scrapbook's birthday.
